How smart is my Cpap

How smart is my Cpap
G'day this machine is marvellous and I would like to know how I can get the most out of it with your help

The device is Remstar Pro(System One 60 Series)(461P)(P183529448D1F V3.06) and I got it on 2/7/17
My clinician printed out the info from the SD card on 31/7/17 for me and my average AHI was down to 1.4 from 24 and she believed that to be excellent

Please advise the best software for me to get - I have laptops on Linus , apple and iPads and iPhone
We have wifi on adsl2 and wireless modem

My Cpap has a SD card and a sticker stating SleepMapper to be the software to use but that is now obsolete on Apple Store

Would appreciate your opinion and advise - can I use wifi or Bluetooth?

Kind regards

Peter

The 60 series machine isn't the latest generation.  Seems like you should have gotten a DreamStation in 02/17.
#Sleepyhead will be your best choice for software.  Click that link; and you'll find a compiled version for Ubantu 15.04; and one for Mac OS 10.7+
In this case, you just use the "sneaker net" -- pull the SD card and walk it over to the computer card reader.

G'day Peter

The best software for general apnea use is #SleepyHead. There is a link at the top of every page on the forum. SleepyHead will display charts and graphs for just about every parameter your machine can report. It's fairly easy to use, and all the experienced members here are familiar with it.

I don't know if your machine has Bluetooth, but SleepyHead doesn't use it anyhow. The easiest way is just to pop the SD card out of your machine and insert it into your computer. If you want to use a wifi connection, you'll need a wifi-enabled card and bridging software. Do a search in this forum for Sleep Master and FlashPAP.

Great to know that your results are looking so good!

Hi Peter,
I use both a Windows 7 and Linux Mint 18.2 box for SleepyHead. The SleepyHead Linux distribution is a ".deb". Most Debian based Linux systems have a .rpm conversion utility so that software packaging can be used as well. I'm guessing that if your running a Red Hat/rpm style machine that you might have a reciprocal type utility.

Good Luck!

Although you got a discontinued System One 60 series model CPAP, it is equal in nearly every way as the Dreamstation DSX400?? CPAP which is the current model. It might have been nice to get an Auto CPAP like the Dreamstation DSX500T11 or Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset, but you found us a bit late. No matter, the DSX460DS provides exactly the same efficacy data as the Dreamstation, and you can read that data using #Sleepyhead, or EncoreBasic software also available on the forum. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...hines-only

Your quite right I had no idea what so ever and now I have found you I will certainly learn a lot

Thank goodness the machine has some good attributes and to me it has done a marvellous job so far

Maybe later on I will " upgrade " but for now I am thrilled with the results of even this superseded machine

Kind regards

Peter
