This takes you to the public area, choose the forum you want to start a thread in. There is a blue box top right, it says Post Thread.

Probably a dumb question. As usual, But why not make a permanent post at the top so you don't have to bump?

RE: Start a New Thread with the Right Subject Line!
My dumb question: you can do that?
OK seriously, I'm sure it could be done somehow, but maybe there's a reason not to. IDK though.

RE: Start a New Thread with the Right Subject Line!
Sorry for random thought: but the word shenanigans reminded me of a co-worker that hacked into one of the company office network printers. He configured it to inform others that instead of being low on ink it was low on mustard, ketchup or mayonnaise. Shenanigans was the word my trainer and supervisor used for stuff like this.

If you're like me and use the "Today's Posts" feature, bumping it will place this topic in the unread list. Like Paula said, it would get lost in the pinned topics otherwise.
