RE: finally new machine
Hi i-want-my-sleep-back,
Thanks for sharing your good fortune in getting an upgraded machine, and love your Other Comments in your profile. (Other Comments: freedom, justice, honor, integrity, respect, self-sacrificing, protect the weak and defenseless)
It is great that your fibro chronic pain has decreased significantly now you are using the new machine. Hopefully the pain will continue to improve as better sleep allows you to heal.
Are you still using the FitLife Total Face Mask?
(There is a "My Profile" link at the top right of the webpage which allows us to easily update our profile.)
I have found that a mask liner is essential for stopping leaks with the FitLife TFM. Also, it helps to use the medium/standard size headgear or smaller.
I occasionally use the FitLife TFM when I need to give my nose bridge a rest. I have a very large head use the Extra Large mask, but I think the extra large headgear is absurdly huge and perhaps too large for anyone. I wish Philips Respironics would include the standard/medium headgear with the XL size FitLife mask and make the XL size headgear a special order item.
Take care,
