How to clear Fault 27 on HDM Z1 APAP?

How to clear Fault 27 on HDM Z1 APAP?
Hi all, I have an HDM Z1 APAP that I got used and have been using for a couple months. Two nights ago it wouldn't turn on, citing "Fault 27" which apparently means overheating. I don't think I have any warranty options, so unless I can clear the fault I think I'm out the purchase price.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I did like the unit up until now, by the way. Except the software, which is useless.
