A minimum ramp pressure of 6.0 or 6.5 will give you an easy start, and provide the air pressure you need to feel good. You're doing very good with the suggestions and your AHI is dropping. I hope the way you feel also follows that trend.

Hi Sleeprider,

I'm continuing with the CPAP terapy with the pressure settings of 9 - 14 cm H2O and a ramp pressure of 6 cm H2O.

My AHI is quite good but I don't understand why the majority of events are "Clear Airway".
What exactly is a Clear Airway?
I have read somewhere that the Clear Airway events are related to the pressure changes. Is it true?


Can I reduce in some way this value?
What about the Periodic Breathing?
