I forgot to add water
#21
RE: I forgot to add water
Well, I did it again! I was up late last night lecturing my 39 year old stepson on the merits of getting a job.
Came in and masked up without filling the tank. My nose is really stuffed up this morning. Mornincoffee

One of my machines is a Respironics Auto M. Running the tank dry caused a little discoloration of the shiny metal plate on the inside. Depending upon insurance coverage, a new tank might not be expensive. It could not be too expensive in any case.

Unless I'm wrong distilled water only keeps your tank from collecting sediment as the water evaporates off. You can use tap water as long as it doesn't smell too bad.
