Yep - I yanked the modem before I even got it home. If I had a ResMed, I would go inside it and disable the modem.
Yeah, the airplane mode nag is there everytime, but its not too big of a deal really.
Once I have used the machine for awhile and can be fairly certain its not going to be a dud and need repair, I may open it up and disable that cell modem. But for now, since it is new, I will deal with the nag..

Hmmm, not sure if I would try to open it up to disable anything. That would likely void any warranty.
I found my DME doesn't change anything on my settings since the advice I have gotten here is so good, there really is nothing that they have to change.
To them, anything 5 and below means the Apnea problems are solved. Not to me. If I'm not below say 2.5 and closer to 1 or below...I question my settings.
