I'm curious. What was your untreated AHI before you started therapy?

29 AHI on original home sleep study with oxygen levels dropping to 68%. On CPAP for about 6 weeks now and making steady improvement, typically >2 AHI and oxygen staying above 95%. Daytime fatigue is better most days but still hoping for more energy in the future. Increased oxygen has had a major impact on a number of things.

Sleep long and prosper!

My AHI was 5 and I think they fudged the data up so I would qualify. This is because what did qualify me, the low oxygen (average 86%) from the slow heart, required more paperwork because Medicare doesn't accept RDI (which was about 30). My AHI is normally always under .5 except when we have residual smoke from the fires in the West and right now with a cold. Average oxygen is still only 91%, but that's the best it gets.

My test AHI was 65.6, with O2 dropping to 72% with no REM during the study. And my base heart rate was 56 bpm when awake, spiking to 88 bpm during sleep. No wonder I was tired when I woke up! After a month and a half on the hose, my highest AHI from the DreamStation is 3.7. I'm also on migraine watch now. I have infrequent clusters of migraines and am curious to see how much effect CPAP has on that.

I clocked in at 31.5 in November of 2001 and have consistently used CPAP (bricks) since. Until spending time in this forum starting in 2014 I was ignorant of AHI or anything else related to sleep apnea or its treatment so I have no idea about my treated AHI up to that point. My machine is a brick with very limited data capability but with help and knowledge gained from the forum over the past couple of years my AHI now stays comfortably below 5.0 and depending on the mask there have been stretches less than 1.0. Also, through bleeding 2 LPM of O2 my blood oxygen level is now well regulated. My next machine will not be a brick.
