Gross I'm tired (How's that for off topic?)
I logged 3.18 hours on my borrowed APAP. Probably half of those were when I was actually asleep. My wife was scheduled for cataract surgery this morning and was quite apprehensive about it - and I tried to be supporting. She reported afterwards that it didn't really hurt and while she wears an eye patch for the next week or two she seems amazed that she can see better than she ever did. Meanwhile the latest installment of "Is it a good idea to microwave this?" on YouTube featured eyeballs. Weird stuff. But it all meant my sleep is so out of whack that I wonder if the 3.18 hours should be entered into the log or not. I guess it should if I'm to have a complete sleep record from November 15 to December 5. Has anyone else had to have this gruesome task of getting cataract surgery?

My brother had it in his early 50s and now we call him Hawkeye.

My dad had the surgery many years ago. He's 94 now and doesn't need glasses for reading or driving.

Getting my left eye done Nov 17...sounds OK the way the doc explained it, he is a great eye doc, makes a change from the sleep docs, lol...
They use ultrasound to get the old lens out, then slot the new lens in...
time for relaxation exercises...:-)

Glad your wife's surgery went OK...

Nope, I have pretty shotty eyes. Eyes of a 50 year old my optometrist said (am 28) but surgery is not an option for me yet. So glasses and dealing with it is is for now. Glad her surgery went well though.
