I need some advise please [on AHI results]
RE: I need some advise please [on AHI results]
Sleeprider,

I need some help again. I switched to the new AirTouch F20 full face mask.
I do not have any more OA's, just CA's and H's.
How do I get rid of them or do I even try.

Once again thanks for your help and,

I remain, respectfully,

Jarhead (Hal)

I am attaching last night's results

It's been a while. When we last spoke you were using PS 6.0 with pressures of 9.4 to 15.4, and now you're at PS 3.4 over 7.0 to 13.0. I'm a little surprised to see the centrals here, and think it might be a good idea to give this more time before deciding on a change. The switch to a different model of FFM should not have made a dramatic difference by itself. Both of the central apnea clusters were shortly after a therapy break and are more likely a sleep onset issue and the rest of the session looks pretty good.

Let's just keep an eye on it.

Sleeprider,

Well i switched from Nasal to FFP and the pressure on Nasal was just to strong for the FFM. But thank you, I will monitor it a week.

Best

Normally, a lower pressure is needed for nasal therapy vs FFM, but perhaps exceptions are the rule when it comes to CPAP.

Your numbers look good to me. You have a level of CA's that your machine won't treat but not at a high enough level to worry about.

There was a time I wasn't certain you would consistently be under 5 AHI with all the flow limitation, OA and sensitivity to excess pressure support. Except for the central cluster on 8/13, you seem to have resolved that issue with the PS 3.4 and 7-13 pressure. I didn't expect it, but this looks pretty darn good considering the history. Hope it feels as good as it looks. Consider where we started; it sure looks like success to me:

Good Evening Sleeprider,

It's been a while since I posted anything but I switched to a Resmed ASV machine and pretty much all my results look like the one that I have posted below.
I have been using the Resmed F20 airtouch FFM and I have pretty much cleared up all the OA's and the CA's, so I feel i am doing pretty good.
Just wanted to post my last night's results for you to look over.

All the Best

Jarhead
