Angry INSURANCE RECORDS: DO YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW?
Almost everyone knows they can obtain a copy of the information contained in the credit reporting repositories (aka credit bureaus), but how many know that there is a similar repository used by insurance companies for the purposes of detecting fraud, setting rates, denying coverages, and for research?

It is known as the Medical Information Bureau and can be found at https://www.mib.com/. And, you may want to read the article at http://www.cincinnati.com/story/money/20.../10511853/

If you want to see what insurers (life, medical, etc.) may have reported, request your consumer report at no cost. You fill-out some identifying information using a secure web-connection and they send you a report in about fifteen days.

It can't hurt and you may be able to request corrections of any errors that may have slipped in.

"The object in life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane." -- Marcus Aurelius

The MIB has been around for decades. When they got started, I do not know. But long before there was an internet.
Ah... started in 1902.

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum
Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

Been more than a decade since I ordered mine. Thanks for the reminder. You used to have to pay for this.

I find myself wondering... why do I need this? Big Grin
