That's always a possibility.
After turning off BT on my phone, it usually takes me a few tries (3-5) to get O2 Insight Pro to even recognize mine, resulting in this popup warning:
But your suggestion in your OP works fine with the binary file and OSCAR.
RE: Importing Oximetry Data and A Big Thanks To The Forum
I too sometimes have to try multiple times before O2_Insight will see and connect to my ring. It doesn't auto download the latest file. I have to click on the 'Download' menu option to initiate the download.
I don't have to turn Bluetooth off on my iPhone, just have to make sure the app is not running when I connect to O2_Insight.

Which device do you have. Mike? Is it the same as mine?

To make the process a little less cumbersome I have now set the folder for this app to backup a copy of the files on my cloud drive and have Oscar pull down the data .
This way I don't have to manually move the files to my laptop.

Yeah, that works well too. I do something similar but use a NAS instead due to some intermittent ISP issues . Keeps my puny laptop HDD from getting filled up too much.

Mine is a NAS drive too. I just call it my cloud drive because then I don't have to explain it
I use a cheap but pretty functional and secure 6TB WD. I have a pretty reliable ISP but I don't trust commercial cloud services. It just doesn't make sense for me to give mass volumes of personal data to some company with people that I don't know, to take care of my very personal stuff... This is why I also shut down the cellular modem on all my CPAP machines and if my doc wants a copy of my data, she asks me for it and I email it to her.....which is why I don't go through insurance for my CPAP stuff because then I have to do what the insurance company tells me to do .
Pretty paranoid with data.

Not only does O2 Insight not recognize it, but also my laptop does not recognize it even as a memory device connected via USB.
One thing to bear in mind, and I think it's true of all the Viatom models, is that none of them show up as USB storage devices when connected through USB. Instead they have a HID interface built into the USB cable, so to the software it's more like a specialised keyboard than a storage device.

(Edit: It might be useful to know the name of the model you are using. You keep showing the picture but there is no easy way to look it up based on that.)
(Edit2: OK I think I found it, That looks like the WearO2, in which case according to this page there is no free PC software for it:
https://getwellue.com/pages/wearo2-weara...e-oximeter It also only seems to record 1 reading per minute according to that)

Yes, so yiours is much better than mine because mine only samples 1/min where as yours samples 1/4s. Your is also smaller and easier to wear.
So I went on ebay and ordered one of those too.
I wish these Chinese companies would do a better job at naming their products

Yup,
Just right click on the image next time and do a google image search. You will have to add the extension to your browser first.
These chinese products are not named very well:-) Yes I think it shows up as WearO2 or something and yes, its only a 1/min sample and yes it does not come with a friendly firmwear, hence the original post
