Improvemnet with cpap !
Just wanted to say as newbie to the world of cpap i had my first go over with my doctor .I went form 47 episodes a night to 6 .That is a hugh improvement for me . I am getting use to the tube hanging off my face , the daily cleaning and buying a jug of distilled every week .

I have a question .I am using the Quattro air full face mask .It works ok but occasionally when i sleep on my side or turn around i do get some air leaks and i have to keep adjusting the mask and headgear to stop the air leaks. I am wondering about the nasal mask and if there is any real difference and if you have the same type of air leak problems ?

Generally speaking, full face mask can leak more than nasal mask or nasal pillows mask, mainly for its sheer size in comparison of the other two
One cannot generalize, many people use full face masks with great success, but unfortunately I'm not one of them

In my experience, nasal mask is easier to use, more comfortable and above all, does not leak as much as full face mask
Less leak = better sleep quality = happier zonk

If i could get the same numbers with a ffm id rather use one. Leaks arent a problem for me with the fitlife or simplus.
Just a fact i have to ron nearly 5 cms higher pressure with ffm to get near the ahi of Eson nasal or any nasal mask for that matter.
The Eson is very comfortable and leak free but i do have to wear a chin strap which i dont like.
If same pressure id go Simplus every night. But it dont work that way.
