Incorrect date on AirCurve
Hello,

I travel a lot and use two machines so that I have one packed all the time.  I recently replaced my old V9 machines with two new AirCurve 10 vAuto's. 

My problem is that one of the machines has it's date set one day ahead of the actual date and the other machine has the correct date.  Anytime I switch to the machine with the incorrect date I lose a day of compliance because it skips a day and show it as the next day.  Then when I switch back to the other machine it overwrites a day again losing a day of compliance. 

When I go into the settings to change the date in clinician mode, it tells me that I can not change the date to one in the past.

Any ideas on how to change it to the correct date would be most appreciated!

First off, in case it's not clear, you must use a different SD card for each machine. OSCAR keeps separate machine histories in a single user profile for each machine based on the serial numbers.
Second, I do not know how well OSCAR can display these alternating data sets. Do let us know.
Finally, as to resetting the time. Pick a week when you will not be using the machine which is a day ahead. On day 1, some time in the evening, set the clock back by up to six hours, but to not before 1:00 PM. Repeat on days 2, 3, and 4 until you can set the correct time on the correct day, never setting the clock to before 1:00 PM.

That seems like a long and unnecessarily complicated procedure, especially if you aren't going to need the machine overnight. Couldn't you just take out the SD card, set the date back one day, turn off the unit, and wait until the next afternoon to put the card back in and use the machine?

Neelix - I've never had the opportunity to not use my machine for a night or two, so I don't know if the machine allows you to set the clock back if there is no data, nor have I forced a clock set back to see how much data gets erased. I also don't know if the machine re-writes any part of the data (particularly the STR.edf file) when you re-insert the SD card after resetting the clock.

I do know my method works without loss of data in the machine or on the SD card.

The Resmed date can be set back after removing the SD card and clearing all data on the machine. You don't have to delete the SD card if you keep it out of the machine until the real date catches up to the recorded data on the card, however it's not much of a loss to just delete all the data since it still resides in Oscar. As long as you have the data backed up you won't lose anything.

I had to sleep for one night with the clock off by 12 hours and figure out how to hack the .edf files, while if you have a second machine with correct clock to sleep on that night you won't have to worry about it.
