Infosmart Terminology Help
I have just started using Fisher & Paykel Infosmart software. I'm having difficulty understanding the terminology? Can someone help me interpret this data?

total flow limitations 14
flow limitations/hr 2
total SensAwake 21
SensAwake/Hr 3

Thanks.

RE: Infosmart Terminology Help
Welcome

Flow limitation is a restriction of the airway which reduces air flow.
You had 14 total. I infer you slept 7 hours.
Your average flow limitations were 14/7 = 2 per hour.

SenseAwake is a proprietary term used by F&P. Not in the common lexicon.
Whatever they are: Again you had 21/7 = 3 per hour.

Sorry I cannot pin down that term for you.

RE: Infosmart Terminology Help
SensAwake promotes better overall sleep. We all experience subconscious waking through the night - at which time pressure intolerance is likely to occur

Whereas other pressure relief technologies provide partial relief during expiration, SensAwake provides a prompt and significant relief in pressure to the lowest most comfortable level upon waking. This eases the return to sleep and allows effective treatment to resume
