Intellipap 2 au to adjust CPAP
Wondering if anyone is experiencing really bad wind from your CPAP machine? If so, any way to stop or reduce it?

G'day Tracball. Welcome to Apnea Board. Just to clarify what you're asking - is the machine blowing too hard (ie pressure too high)? Or are you experiencing gas in the stomach?
To adjust the pressure, you can get the clinician manual here: https://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p...tup-manual However we don't recommend changing pressures without a more thorough understanding of what the problem is. If you're talking about stomach gas, this is called aerophagia. This is fairly common, though (touch wood) I've never had it myself. There are lots of discussions about aerophagia on the forum - just follow this link. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/search....order=desc

yes to swallowing air. massive belching upon mask-off and some farting (I guess it's okay to say that in this day and age). just once had a couple days of abdominal discomfort. problem eases over time for some. lower pressure helps if possible depending on treatment needs. I live with it because I believe I need higher pressure; maybe in time I'll find that sweet spot that reduces oa's without aerophagia.

Tracball, you are using a really wide range of pressure. It would be interesting to see if you can get Sleepyhead 1.1.0 working with your machine and maybe we can help you identify a more ideal pressure range that cuts events without causing aerophagia. Read this thread to learn how to download the Sleepyhead beta and let's see if we can get that working. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...STING-Beta
