Interpreting SleepyHead data

RE: Interpreting SleepyHead data
You can post unlimited graphs and date by embedding the image from another site. This tutorial describes how you can display more SH data here: http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php...pnea_Board

You are experiencing a form of periodic breathing that I think was pretty well described by QAL. We don't know why that is occurring, and it may have nothing to do with the CPAP settings. This really is something to discuss with your physician as it can be related to other health or heart issues. You may have experiences similar episodes of periodic breathing with cyclical hypopneas or apnea prior to CPAP use, or it may be caused by CPAP pressure. My impression is that you would benefit from a greater difference between inhalation and expiration pressures to promote better ventilation. You clearly have no obstructive apnea in the chart you displayed, but you are swinging between hypopnea and hyperventilation. That's a problem your machine can address if properly titrated.
