your machine does not have a flex setting. your EPR is the pressure relief (or difference between inhale pressure and exhale pressure). your machine reduces the exhale pressure which makes a patient more comfortable. it also has some effect on treatment for many people. changing your EPR from 3 to 2 make less difference between the inhale and the exhale pressures.

I would either keep up exactly how you are set, or change the EPR to 2. you should keep settings you choose for several days to a week in order to see what the average night is like.
