Camping with no power
Hi folks... I was reading on here a while back on how to use the cpap when there is no power... it mentioned to get a converter for my Resmed and a battery.. I will be camping for 3 nights where electricity won’t be available so what kind of battery should I get.. I don’t want to spend tons of money
Thanks for your help !!

RE: Camping with no power
The BIXpower 159 w-hr battery on amazon ($249) provides a li-ion battery that can give you at least 2-days of therapy without humidifier or heated tube. At 3 days you are pushing it without a recharging option. The BiXPower BP90 X 2 High Capacity batteries brings that up to 192 watt-hours for $279 and should get you the third night with some restraint.
Most important, this is a relatively light setup. If you are camping close to a car, recharging and a heavier battery could be considered.

RE: Camping with no power
A regular deep cycle battery will work, if the weight/bulk is not a problem. Good luck

RE: Camping with no power
If I've got it right, ResMed runs via 24V. So unless you're buying one of those batteries specifically for ResMed, you'd need a 24V to 12V converter.

RE: Camping with no power
The best bang for your buck is a Resmed DC adapter and a U1 35 amp hour battery this will give you 3 nights of runtime but is not particularly portable at 24lbs to fine if you have the car.

RE: Camping with no power
That's what I like about canoe camping. You can bring two 12V batteries to run in series, or an inverter, or a generator.
