Leak Detection Resmed S9 Elite versus Airsense 10

Leak Detection Resmed S9 Elite versus Airsense 10
I've used the S9 for 6 years and just replaced it with an Airsense 10 Apap. My CPAP settings were 8cm, my APAP settings are 6cm to 10cm. The Airsense 10 records a lot more leaking and I'm wondering if it is actual leaking now being detected by a better machine.

Here's a small snip of the leak summary showing both S9 and 10. The latest 3 nights are on the Airsense 10.

(1) Did you check that you have the correct hose and mask settings, both of which affect the leak calculations?
(2) I have noticed that there is some difficulty in comparing statistics generated by an older CPAP to those generated by a newer APAP. In my case, my AHI was higher with CPAP than APAP, which was to be expected as the APAP is adapting to my behavior and reducing the AHI counts.
(3) As for leaks, it appears that my APAP recorded more leakage, perhaps because of the higher pressure as my machine responded to my behavior. This is anecdotal because I do not have a consistent sleep position and turn during the night which strains the hose and produces a small amount of side-mask leakage.
(4) And, there is always the questions regarding better sensors or changes in algorithms.

Since we do not exist in a laboratory environment and ResMed rarely answers technical questions of this nature, I guess we may be stuck with our individual impressions.

I checked all of the settings and they are correct. It seems to me that the S9 leak detection starts at 0L/min but the Airsense 10 starts at 10L/min.

I added a comparison of the leak graphs. Has anyone else noticed this?
