Lingering fatigue: trust Resmed sleep report?
RE: Lingering fatigue: trust Resmed sleep report?
You could also try to sell it for $400 and then buy a VAUTO.  Next time, just make sure to ask for a pic of the front of the unit.

I'm back - i was able to return the Aircurve S to the kind and confused seller, and found another used Vauto that just arrived.

I went through the settings and I've set it up similarly to my airsense - I reset Vauto to defaults, and then set Max IPAP 12.6 (I'm going up a bit from my last machine to get at the flow limits), Min EPAP 6.4 (same as last machine) and PS at 4 instead of the 3 EPR I have now. Again, the couple of things I changed are with Flow Limits in mind. I hope I'm getting that right. i'll check back in before I go to sleep to see if anyone chimes in.

I'll report back with some graphs.

On the Vauto, there may be no need to increase the pressure as you have increased the PS but let us see some graphs good luck

RE: Lingering fatigue: trust Resmed sleep report?
HI - i woke up frustrated (but i think I slept better oddly enough).

I'm frustrated because it appears the machine didn't record the night's data. I import into Oscar and it only shows a 20 min nap I had to try the machine yesterday afternoon.

The segment for the 20 min nap appears at the bottom, but usually there's a another segment for anything else from the same 24 hours. There's nothing else there.

I thought, if the nap had recorded and was imported successfully, I was all set.

suggestions?

Weirdly enough, the same thing happened to me when I first got my lightly used Vauto. Tryout in the afternoon recorded fine. First night (that night) didn't record at all. After that, all was well, and I hope it turns out that way for you too.

First night with the new VAuto - I think I felt a difference on waking today - at least I think so.

Lots of centrals though, more than ever, but WAY less noise in the Flow Limitations. Gonna hang out at these settings for several days, and maybe try my nasal pillows mask instead of my nasal cushions mask - less leaks with the pillows, but better air flow with the cushions.

Screen shot of the night attached

The centrals are not enough to worry about for now hopefully they will diminish as you get used to the machine and the PS of 4
