Hilarious pics.

Okay here is something else a little personal - anyone have trouble with an itching nose under the nasal mask? I have it most nights and it drives me nuts till I pull off the mask and deal with it. I've woken up after reflexively (sp?) reaching to itch my nose only to slam into the mask.

Anyone else? Never used to have that problem before the mask.

yep, i have the pillows and the nose hair. Plus, when i dont shave my lip, i can get some irritation there too.

All I wanted was a physical so i could go camping with the boy scouts, and now i have a CPAP and Oxygen!
that'll teach me...

I have invisible or imaginary threads in my mask. Whenever I put it on, it feels like there are spiderwebs, threads, etc. in it tickling my nose. I never can find anything when I look or feel for them. Reaching in with my fingers to clean them out seems to convince my brain that I've cleaned something out sometimes, and I don't feel them any more.
Get the free OSCAR CPAP software here.
Useful links.
Click here for information on the main alternative to CPAP.
If it's midnight and a DME tells you it's dark outside, go and check it yourself.

Wow... and I thought I was the only one who had these issues of imaginary thingies tickling my nose. Good to know I have company in my paranoia... and YES, reaching in with my finger does seem to "solve" the imaginary problem for me as well.

Thanks Arch. I feel less alone in the world. Too-funny
