Just wondering if anyone here has tried Lyrica? I was prescribed it after my sleep study as I apparently move my legs a lot during sleep, which can interrupt sleep just like apneas. Looking for feedback on how you find this drug.
Cheers.

Lyrica (Pregabalin)
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone here has tried Lyrica? I was prescribed it after my sleep study as I apparently move my legs a lot during sleep, which can interrupt sleep just like apneas. Looking for feedback on how you find this drug. Cheers.

RE: Lyrica (Pregabalin)
I'm looking forward to hearing about your experience & that of others with the pregabalin. so far I've tried gabapentin & ropinirole for periodic leg movement, which I would say have been largely unsuccessful. in fact I think they made my waking restless legs worse.

RE: Lyrica (Pregabalin)
While I don't take Lyrica for PLM, I do take it for Generalized anxiety disorder. Typically 25mg in the evenings, definitely makes me feel more relaxed. I haven't found any crazy side effects from it except that certainly helps with the social side of my anxiety.

RE: Lyrica (Pregabalin)
The FDA has a warning out for Lyrica (pregabalin)and other similar drugs. You may want to discuss the article with your Dr. :
https://www.fda.gov/drugs/drug-safety-an...-neurontin A snippet from FDA: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning that serious breathing difficulties may occur in patients using gabapentin (Neurontin, Gralise, Horizant) or pregabalin (Lyrica, Lyrica CR) who have respiratory risk factors. These include the use of opioid pain medicines and other drugs that depress the central nervous system, and conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) that reduce lung function. The elderly are also at higher risk.
