Mask Help - Philips Respironics DreamStation
#1
Question
Mask Help - Philips Respironics DreamStation
I need a full face mask, because sometimes I breath through my nose.  I have the DreamStation Auto.  I want to stick with the same manufacturer (Philips Respironics) for the mask for some reason.

I tried the Amara View (small), however it doesn't actually cover the nose, and I could barely breath out of my nose since the hole in the clear rubber wouldn't line up.  It was leaking like crazy.

I'm interested in trying the Amara Full Face in Medium since it covers the entire nose & mouth.  Is the "Gel" version better to reduce leaks?  Thoughts?

It sounds like you have the wrong size cushion for the Amara View. Did you use the measuring guide? Check out mask primer on the below link.

The Amara Gel is the most comfortable FFM I’ve tried. I liked it better than the silicone version. Be sure to use the fitting guide for any mask you decide to try so it will fit.

What is the fitting guide?  Will the Medical Supply Store have a fitting guide?

And what size do you wear in the Amara Gel Full Face mask?

They normally have some way to check if they print to the right size. Print at 100% the first time and adjust as needed from there, if necessary.
