Sudden leaking issue after no problems for a year

Regarding a sudden increase in leaks. My head gear stretches and needs adjustment every so often. Also after a year or so it seems to lose it's stretchiness. I have found that when adjusting the head gear limiting the adjustment to 1/8 or 5/16 inch increments at a time works best for me. I make adjustments and try it for two or three nights before making more adjustments. My head gear seems to work fine for the first six months or so then require adjustment. After that it seems to require adjustment more often.
