Yesterday, I started using my Resmed S9 with H5i humidifier and a Airfit mask from supplier#10 (the price of the mask was US$98.00). I join all Australians who are subjected to price gouging here.

The whole lot cost me just under A$1,100.00 with 12 extra filters including the cost of delivery. If you are buying from them, sign up for the newsletter which gives you a promotion code to get a 10% off!

I could have reduced the cost by not ordering filters to keep the value under $1,000 so that the consignment is not subject to import duties and GST. That would have saved me $65.00 in customs cost I had to pay.

The purchase experience was pretty good. You can email the prescription for them to set the pressure in case you want to use the fixed pressure.

They used Fedex and estimated my package delivery to Melbourne in 3-5 days and delivered in 5 days that included a weekend.

The only grief (if I am to find one!) is, temp setting is in F which is easily fixed, thanks to information on Apnea Board.

Another point I want to make is, I was also not sure of the mask fitting but my thought process was I could buy 3 masks to try within the cost of purchasing one in Melbourne.
