Uh-Huh.......... Like an ear-to-ear grinning green glob is the first thing I want to see when I wake up? I think not..... I'd rather see the miserable cats than that.

I have never yet pushed whatever button my machine thinks I should push to see the green smiley, or the red snarly first thing in the morning. Not going to do that.

ResMed conveniently lets us know whether our mask leak rate is "good" or "bad" by putting a green smiley face or a red frown face on our machines.

For many of us, that's as technical as we want to get. Bigwink Too-funny

Eat-popcorn

And the on-screen display of PRS1 machines report the percent time in large leak. When mine goes above 0% I know my chin strap needs to be tightened.

Coffee

Also, the software does report the unintentional leak rate for PRS1 machines, although SleepyHead has trouble doing that accurately for the PRS1 BiPAP's.

Can't find the red sad face, but here's the happy green smiley face anyway:

I was just kidding about never wanting to see the data - I'm a technical geek at heart, but I must admit there are times when I get overly-geeked-out and don't want to deal with all the details of sleep apnea data analysis. It's times like those that I'm perfectly happy just hoping to see the S9 green smiley face in the morning.
