Misplaced SD Card

Misplaced SD Card
Greetings. I've misplaced my SD Card for my Philips Respironics Remstar Pro 450P System One. Can I replace it with a store-bought SD card, or do I need to order one from Philips?

Hi Jerry,
Any SD card will do just fine.
Hopefully, you'll find the other one after you buy the new one, (Ha-Ha,) that's what happens to me a lot of times, I'll lose something, buy a new one and find the one I lost.
Hang in there for more responses to your post.

You can replace it with any SD card. A 2GB card will do nicely.

On the 450 you'll need a SDHC or just SD. I don't think the 450 will read the SDHC (i.e. SDXC). You can find 2 or 4 gb cards at most places that sell those type items.

The 450 will need a plain SD card; the SDHD cards will NOT work in the Series 50 machines.

You may need to go to a camera store these days to find plain SD cards. Most big box stores only stock SDHD cards. I guess they assume that everybody throws away their cameras as soon as they can't find replacement cards.

Radio Shack, Best Buy, Amazon, Newegg, etc. - and they all have cards that will work - SD or SD/SDHC compatible. Make sure that the write protect tab is in the read/write position.

Thanks to all who have responded. I'm currently in the boondocks (Monahans, Tx) and will have to go to Odessa Tx. to pick up an SD card. My two-year old granddaughter picked up the pill case containing the card when I wasn't looking, and hid it in a really good place.

Does the card need to be formatted in any special manner? For example FAT32 instead of NTFS?

We have a new puppy. The new puppy got a hold of my SDCard. Now I have a new SDCard. ....and we still have the puppy.

It's formatted FAT. I think the machine will format the card if it's in a non complaint format.
