how is it positional?

also its a full mask, while the nasal pillow ive been using has far less leaks/issues. its really odd you would think full would be better

First, the major leaks don't occur all night long, just every so often. I am guessing that you are sleeping on your side and as your head sinks into the pillow, there is enough resistance from the pillow to push your mask to the side, thus causing a leak. Since an FFM has a larger area of contact with the pillow there is more side resistance. A lot of us here use buckwheat filled pillows because they don't compress. Additionally, you can shape them to clear your mask and still provide support for your head.

If the mask leaks are identified as the culprit, and they are intermittent, then it's either they are not adjusted correctly if the leaks are under higher pressure or if not due to high pressure you are moving it somehow.
