RE: More trouble with SD card
Hi ParkerDT... and OP: the issue you describe is probably due to a hardware issue in your PC and/or USB reader, with a possible complication caused by drivers.
I'm writing this on a Dell laptop upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 - laptop has a built-in SD card slot, and it respects the card lock. ResScan needed update to v5.5
I use a spare microSD card fitted into an SD adapter, which then goes into the AirSense 10 [or directly into the Dell laptop slot].
But get this: My work machine has a microSD slot, and THAT laptop was the one causing issues... irony: machine is made by Microsoft. They had to issue hardware driver updates for Windows 10 to finally fix issues, something that ALWAYS happens with any new major operating system update by MS, Apple, whatever.
So don't give up hope yet... and if worst comes to worst, check out startech.com - a supplier of any/all adapters, cables, whatever - and a favorite in our shop.
