It's a SONAR type technique.

Wow how do you know that?
Is that sent is response to an apnoea event/unknown event or is it sent at random?

The pulse waves start 4 seconds after the machine detects cessation of flow.
ResMed calls this detection system the FOT algorithm.

I have been on CPAP a year and I am still exhausted with declining cognition and memory, my respiratory specialist (2nd opinion) thinks something is wrong, we were going over the data today and was wondering could these be partial awakenings?
