My First ResScan Report

RE: My First ResScan Report
Yes I would agree. However you're still not quite into that sweet spot. Did you look at your data in Sleepyhead? How much of the night were you bumping up against the 13? Leak of 10 is fine, if that's your 95% Average. So there again, the complete overnight pattern is what is needed to tell where, if anywhere, you should go now.

But you're doing fine. If you made no changes whatsoever you would probably improve. Of course, that would be counter to my "futzing" rule.

Yes...I was bumping 13. 95% was 12.6, but AHI significantly lower! Should I raise the pressure and let the machine go higher? I assume the better AHI was due to less pressure causing more sleep interruption. And the nasal pillows are far more comfortable with lower pressure.

ResScan is only on windows. If you want to run it on a macbook pro you need to set up a dual boot windows/osx or use a program like parallels.

RE: My First ResScan Report
Everything has gone so well that I haven't checked in here or my data for awhile. I am sleeping deeper (it seems to me) and my muscles aren't as tense. I still wake up like gangbusters and haven't hit the snooze button since this started in April. (It was something I did many times before.)
I looked at my data today and my apnea index is higher. Before it was .2 or so and now I notice last night it went up to 1.2. Most nights it seems to be .5 or .8.
Is this cause for concern?
I'm attaching a screen shot for my 30 day average.

Daily usage, AHI and leaks looks good

CPAP Pressure: 4-20
Pressure stats: median 10.8 - 95P 13.4 - maximum 15.1
Ask the doc, if minimum pressure ought be higher, looking at the above stats, minimum pressure 4 seems to be on the low end

You can download SlepyHead (SH), SH works with Mac computers
SH download link http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...e-software

Machine in profile: Machine: Resmed S Auto
Which S9 Auto: AutoSet or Escape Auto
If Escape Auto, SH might not works either, Escape Auto don,t report detailed data

Just monitor it for awhile. I float between 0 and 2.0, all depending on my machines mood any given night. Actually, it's kind of cool to get something other than zero. If it was always zero, you really wouldn't know if you were alive or not. That could be alarming.
