My Journey from BiPAP Auto to Aircurve 10 Vauto
RE: My Journey from BiPAP Auto to Aircurve 10 Vauto
Thank you Fred, I was just trying to find a way to keep O2 above 90%.   What are your thoughts about the mouth breathing?  Also if you could tell me what the SP02 drop # and pulse change # mean on the left panel of the graph.  Does 15.00 and average of 15 times an hour that the O2 drops and 16.27 an average of the number of Pulse changes??

Another question, if anyone knows - under events it shows the time of each event, what is the number in () mean?  The one I have highlighted #8 was (2204) the next one in the list #9 is (215).  What do those numbers represent?

That is typically seconds, so you are showing 2 minutes of a 36 minute event.
That says your oxygen is too low for too long.

Fred, are you thinking about EERS, with oxygen bleed between the vent and the mask? I was thinking along those directions, but this is totally untested territory. I agree, it could result in higher fiO2, but we are hanging pretty far out on a slim limb here.

I actually wasn't thinking EERS, just a way to get a richer Oxygen supply to where it need to be.

So are you now feeding oxygen at or near the swivel connection and vent on the top of the head?
