The cut should be relatively 90 degree, you can sand the back of the cast down to make it stand better on the table. Once cut draw parallel line to the cut line 1mm apart. Then put it at the edge of the table and align the camera with the table edge so that the table edge is also aligned with the base of the casting and make pictures from each side and finally a front picture from the top.
After you prepare the casting, cut and etc. you can measure the height of the cut casting from the tip to the table surface.
You can mail them but I live in Germany,pretty sure a safe shipping (so the mold dont break) would cost the same as you going to a 3d shop and getting your nose laser scanned.
