Horrible sleep paralysis last night.

RE: Horrible sleep paralysis last night.
Its very interesting about dreaming and the use of APAP bring our dreams back to the forefront where we are able to remember them. Have we been dreaming all along or has our dreaming been curtailed by our apnea's and through the reduction of them are dreams come back??

Wonder if others as you said are experiencing the same but just not realizing the cause. Are there other things that come back in our lives too that we just haven't put together the reasons?? Do smells become vivid again or maybe the colors we see through our eyes, how about our taste buds?? Has got me wondering!!

I have started a Journal to write down my experience with my treatment, whether it be good or bad, and think everyone should. Its the only way to remember what has happen with out trying to rely on our memories that aren't very good when you have Sleep Apnea .

Evpraxia .. was out your way this past August .. what a beautiful area all along the coast. spent 2 weeks in Seattle and was surprised that I had very little sleep/breathing problems while there. Wasn't on my machine yet as I hadn't gotten it yet. But found I seemed to sleep better at sea level .. there were several night that I didn't move in my sleep from the time I went to bed till I woke. and I very seldom if ever do that! Does elevation make a difference ? Just wondering ..

I think it does, when we took my father-in-law with us from Oregon to N. Dakota the cardiologist and pulmonologist (sp?) both suggested getting through the mountains as quickly as possible due to Papa's COPD and asthma. Papa probably had sleep apnea as well but never got it tested. He died of congestive heart failure at age 95, one month short of being 96.
Evpraxia in the Pacific Northwest USA
Diagnosed: 44 AHI when supine, O2 down to 82%
Treated since 20 Sept 2014:: 0.7 AHI, Settings 7-15, EPR on Full Time at Level 3
Better living through CPAP/APAP machines!
