My therapy
    Good morning,

I've been on therapy since May and feeling pretty good most of the time. Here is last night. How does it look? Thanks in advance

RE: My therapy
It looks good. 2 things you need to watch. Leaks - if it is classed as a large leak (in gray) - during those times your machine can not give accurate data on apnea and you are not being treated. Of course you need to eliminate as many leaks as possible.

2nd are flow limits - they are obstructive apnea just like the O and H events, just smaller. You can see the difference in how they grade apnea in my signature

Flow limits disturbs sleep, stopping you from deep sleep and can wake you up. We combat FL by using EPR(exhale pressure relief). You can set it at 1, 2 or 3. I can’t tell what your is set to - it is listed in the left column a little lower than your screenshot.

I would slowly raise by 1 and if the FL are reduced increase again, until you get to 3. The main thing you want to watch is centrals not increase in numbers. Although they do very and show some one night and none the next so you need to look at them over several nights.
Apnea (80-100%) 10 seconds, Hypopnea (50-80%) 10 seconds, Flow Limits (0-50%) not timed  Cervical Collar - Dealing w DME - Chart Organizing

Thank you! I adjusted my mask a bit to combat leaks and set the EPR to 1. I think if this trend continues, all is well. Smile Your thoughts?

Looks very good.  Leave it where it is and in a couple of days move EPR to 2.  Again check on the number of centrals remembering the number will very so there may be a few more or less.

Thanks so much! I appreciate your advice. I never really understood the flow limit thing and EPR.

RE: My therapy
EPR 2 is working very well, only 1 CA and 2 OA and good sleep (thank you!) last night.

In looking at my OSCAR dailies, I notice that my events are more often than not in the early mornings. I wonder if that is my REM time.
Anyone else see that kind of a pattern?

RE: My therapy
Good morning. Things have been going great until this week. I'm suddenly having more leaks and my CA numbers are up. I'm thinking it might be related to increased allergy/asthma issues. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!
