Nasal pillow war

RE: Nasal pillow war
Thanks for the good ideas. The Puresom looks like what I had in mind. Can you tell me where you get them? I searched and found one place that had them listed but discontinued and replaced with the Ruby Red. I'll be sure to check the chin cup size. Why do I hear comments about nose pillow problems regarding pressure? Is the pressure different than that of a nose mask? Just curious. I still need to find a way to not dislodge either during the night. I've adjusted both straps numerous times and short of Super Glue they get pushed off and start leaking. I think a full face mask would be even mire of a problem.

I just read an old post and it reminded me that I can't ask where to get an item. Sorry. I'll try to remember that in the future. Guess I'll just keep searching for that Puresom chin strap.

The pressure really shouldn't be causing your issue. What size pillow are you using? Often you need to move up to one size larger.

I would check with our on-line suppliers, google puresom ultra, or even look on Amazon for the chinstrap.

I found a post that mentioned "ultra" and that was the key. I've found the chin strap. I've tried all sizes of the nose mask but the Large. I'll try it and see if it fits. Thanks.

While I'm asking, I'm having a hard time finding either a nise mask or pillows that I don't dislodge during the night. Always about fours into the sleep. Thanks for any advice...it's all appreciated.

Pap-cap does all that.

There are a handful of places that carry it, so you'll need to google.

Well I used the ruby chin strap under the p10 last night, and I selpt great and woke up with no leaks at all this morning. I've followed retired_guy's advice of not cinching the strap down and it's way more comfortable and did it's job. I look forward to many more great nights!

Were you having to wear a chin strap with the Wisp or Eson? That is the one thing I have not tried with the P10, using the chin strap, doesn't it seem more obtrusive than the wisp if you have to use chin strap + p10, if you were successful with only the Wisp or Eson?

Glad you like your new setup.

I was not having any mouth leaks with the wisp or eson, but with any pillow mask I tried the direct flow of air would pop my mouth open. I've been using the p10 for about a week now with the ruby chin strap and have been sleeping great. Next week I'm going to throw in a night without the chin strap to see if I can go without.

Thanks for the update and input. Maybe that was my problem with the P10. I do not have a chinstrap since I did not need one with any of the nasal masks I tried. Might look into that. My only concern is that then I would have to use a chinstrap and P10 vs. only one mask with no problems with mouth opening with the other masks.

Happy Easter everyone!
