RE: Need Sleep
Yes, I interpreted the warning on Advil incorrectly. Thanks for the correction. I got my info from the Advil insert that comes with the ones my wife uses. It warns of possible kidney damage and later on down also cautions against use by those with liver damage. It seems to mean that the primary concern is to the kidneys while the liver is only considered if it is already performing at a reduced level.
the insert clip reads:
I suppose they wanted to cover all bases. Frankly I don't use Ibuprofen or acetaminophen very often. Neither seems to do much for me unfortunately.
My wife suffers with fibromyalgia and swears by Advil. I do my best to make sure she is aware of the risks and try to discourage her from overusing it. I can't argue with her perception of its efficacy...whatever works is her rebuttal.

the insert clip reads:
Quote: Ask a doctor before use if stomach bleeding warning applies to you; you have a history of stomach problems such as heartburn; you have a high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease; you are taking a diuretic
