Where are you seeing the Fit Pack for 60-bucks? It is $109 everywhere I am looking.

We live in the AZ desert, so humidity is not a problem here. What's the idea behind the humidifier and the heated hose? I do like the concept of a smaller hose though. With these prices I am getting the feeling it might be time to break out the Arduinos and head to the machine shop, 4-20cm H2O is not that much air to pump. Smile Just finishing my home IoT using my own designed and built sensors and software, including some win8 software for monitoring with a webserver.

Back in my distant past, for a couple of years, I designed Medical Instruments at Corning. How hard can it be? LOL

Search on Amazon for "Dreamware Nasal CPAP Mask fitpack". $60.95

"Rain-out": condensation that occurs in the hose or mask resulting from warm humid air hitting colder surfaces. In severe cases it can block the hose, cause bubbling and dump water up the users nose. In mild cases it is an irritating wetness that tickles or feels like your nose is running.

Edit to add: Living in Arizona is a great reason to use a humidifier. CPAP pressure is uncomfortable without some added humidity, and can cause drying and pain in the sinus. In spite of your expertise in electronics, I doubt you could construct a suitable flow generator with data recording ability, and algorithms for pressure adjustments, for the cost of buying one. I'll just assume you're funnin' me. These are pretty good deals if you want to solve the problem at lowest cost.
