Need assistance to lower my AHI

Need assistance to lower my AHI
Happy Sunday all,

My original threat somehow disappeared (under my profile it shows that my post is 0), so I re-post this threat. Hopefully, this is allowed.
I have been using CPAP for 2 years with the default setting 4-20 cmH20, so my AHI is always between 4 and 5 in average.
With you guys assistance on the original post I changed the setting to 8cmH20 then 8.5cmH20 and my symptoms of headache, sleepiness, dizziness have slightly improved.
I have been using the 8.5-20 cmH20 for 4 weeks and except some good days that got my AHI below 1, most of the day is 2-3 in average.
My symptoms got worse when my AHI is above 2.
Would you mind take a look at my last 2 night charts to see if I should make any changes.

I considered switching to the Resmed AirSense Auto 10 to have a better treatment.
I saw my sleep specialist 3 weeks ago and she looked at the summary and she said that my number look good so she requested me to do 2 night oximeter oxygen test and it will cost me $350 (I have not met my deductible yet), so I am thinking about buying one and monitor at home.

Thank you so much in advance all. You are rock!!  Thanks

RE: Need assistance to lower my AHI
Having used both, I think the ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset is much more comfortable than your machine. It is also more nimble and can provide some true pressure support. Whether this all makes it worth while for you to buy one out of pocket really depends on what's in your pocket.

Do you know why the sleep specialist thought you needed to test your O2 levels? Seems odd to me unless you have pulmonary problems. At any rate, yes, if you want to monitor your O2 levels, you should get an device of your own. Here is some information about devices you can use with Oscar:

OSCAR is currently compatible with Contec CMS50D+, CMS50E, CMS50F and CMS50I serial oximeters.
(Note: Direct importing from bluetooth models is probably not possible yet)
You may wish to note, other companies, such as Pulox, simply rebadge Contec CMS50's under new names, such as the Pulox PO-200, PO-300, PO-400. These should also work.
It also can read from ChoiceMMed MD300W1 oximeter .dat files.
Please remember: If you are trying to sync oximetry and CPAP data, please make sure you imported your CPAP sessions first before proceeding!
Important Notes: For OSCAR to be able to locate and read directly from your Oximeter device, you need to ensure the correct device drivers (eg. USB to Serial UART) have been installed on your computer. For more information about this, click here.
Contec CMS50D+ devices do not have an internal clock, and do not record a starting time. If you do not have a CPAP session to link a recording to, you will have to enter the start time manually after the import process is completed.
Even for devices with an internal clock, it is still recommended to get into the habit of starting oximeter records at the same time as CPAP sessions, because CPAP internal clocks tend to drift over time, and not all can be reset easily.

Dormeo,

Thank you so much for your insight and detailed information. I think I will invest to the Resmes, I saw some good deal for about $600.
I told my sleep specialist that I am still experiencing fatigue, sleepiness and headache after using the CPAP for 2 years.
She looked at my overview data with the average usage of 7 hours, and AHI 3.5.
Then she said the cpap is working effectively keeping my AHI below 5, so she want me to do the O2 test.

Thanks again and have a nice weekend Dormeo
