As for the things that don't show up, isn't it the case that it doesn't report FL RERA etc. unless there's something to report? What I mean is OSCAR and the PAP isn't showing these until/unless there's something to report.

The machine measures things like flow limits, apnea and hypopnea, and some machines guess at RERA. Sometimes it takes a human to associate why a change has occurred. This is really classic, because inspiration time really has been shortened from when this user was on CPAP. The use of pressure support allows for the inspiration time to be shorter, and a more normal breath and I:E ratio to be achieved, with less effort or potential for arousal. Pressure support does so much more than what you might think, and it's a shame the medical community is not really tuned into this therapeutic effect. Now, read this new thread by Crowman, where the exact same phenomenon is starting to develop http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...URVE-VAUTO Pressure support will shorten his time of inspiration, so no change is needed...at least I hope that is what he is told.

Question-When I was on the autoset I had problems with reras. Since on VAUTO I have not seen any. Does this bipap not recognize reras?
