New And Throwing in the Towel

RE: New And Throwing in the Towel
It is SO worth all the effort it may require. It has taken me several months of "throw the stupid thing out the window" frustration and aggravation but can finally say, I made it! Having energy to spare, being in a much happier frame of mind, actually remembering and comprehending what I read, being alert and focused when driving are all on my short list of recognizable benefits of therapy. Please, oh please, don't throw in the towel. Believe in your ability to confront adversity and win! My daily, sometime hourly mantra was "No way this dumb machine is going to win this battle!!" Try it. It might help. I'm rooting for you!!

Okay, from last night while hooked to the machine with my Quattro mask on.
My adult son, who lives with us, walks into my room to ask a question. I sit up, take a big whooshing breath, and say "Luke, I am you father, Luke..." Who says we can't have a little fun to assuage the frustration.
