Your Max PS seems low, I'd expect that to be 15 to provide room for the PS to do it's trick.

Go to view-> reset graphs-> Advanced  This shift the charts to display the respiratory values that better suit an ASV.

You don't seem to be hitting the max PS but my instinct is to raise the PS for the hypopneas.  thus the move to 15 for PS Max

Increase PS min from 4 to 5 and see if that helps with the hypopneas.

Maximum PS on this unit only goes to 12. Should I go there and minimum to 5?

I myself don't know Respironics version of the ASV, but I'm thinking the reason your PS max is limited for you is probably tied to your EPAP Max setting. You may need to get the rest of the bump to 15 bonjour wanted by bumping EPAP Max. I think you were lacking room to bump PS an extra 3 (to get to 15 but could only get 12), so you may need to change EPAP Max up 3 to become 9. Let's see what other feedback pops up.

ill bet if you dropped min PS to 3 you could set max ps to 15 (don't)  

Do keep PS max at it's max as you make adjustments.  

Trying to reduce those hypopneas so PS min=5 and THEN PS max as high as it will go.

In case my last post didn't make sense, the EPAP range can limit the PS range (and vice versa) on my ResMed ASV. I am thinking that's why PS Max can't be reached by tntfrahm. It's a limit reflected by the current EPAP range. Don't know if that helps explain my intent.

Try this if you don't mind: bump EPAP Max to 9 then see how high you can set PS Max. Tell me what happens. Thanks.

Max PS is 12 because max IPAP is set to 16.

IPAP - EPAP = PS
16 (IPAP max) - 4 (EPAP min) = 12 (PS max)

You are having the odd obstructive apnea along with the hypopneas and these PR machines do not appear to react as quickly as Resmed. Higher EPAP is what is required to treat apneas and I would start by increasing EPAP slightly, this will also increase IPAP which will help with the hypopneas. I would set EPAP min to 6, IPAP max to 20, leave PS min at 4 (for now), PS max to 14 and try that for a few nights.

Can you swap out the pressure chart with mask pressure and post a couple 2 min zoomed in views of the hypopneas. Also curious to see one zoomed in normal breathing area. Kind of curious as to what is happening and how these PR machines respond.

Hmmm. How do I “switch out the pressure chart?” Not the most technologically literate.

Hover over pressure so the hand icon appears, click and drag it down. Find the mask pressure graph and drag it up to where pressure used to be.
