RE: New DreamStation 2
It doesn’t mention anything about a SD card unless I missed seeing it.

Wow, the odd way minds play tricks on us. I read the title yet conjured up images of PlayStation 2...
NEW! Ramp that you can set the pressure and time. Much like ResMed Ramp that's been out for several years.

The SD card slot is accessed by removing the water chamber. The humidifier is now built-in.
The other very interesting bit is that it now records oximetry via Bluetooth. I wonder what devices are supported?
I'll be curious to see how the data on the SD has changed. OSCAR will warn about an unrecognized machine, since it looks like these model numbers will be 510 and 520.
I couldn't tell from a quick glance what was "Advanced" about the 520 over the 510. Maybe someone else can scour the FCC user manuals and spot the different?
RE: New DreamStation 2
Never again with Dream station. Resmed ftw.
RE: New DreamStation 2
My old Respironics 560 had a ramp and time setting. Needn't use it and now smart enough not to use Respironics again!
RE: New DreamStation 2
Doesn’t seem like there’s any changes to the algorithm in the marketing materials. They’re just copying what the airsense10 has atm with the integrated humidifier and the pre installed modem.
I wonder if the data from that machine will work with OSCAR though.
RE: New DreamStation 2
I'm a big fan of my DreamStation Auto. Looking at this DreamStation 2, I'm not seeing what has actually changed, besides the visual outside. We already have an adjustable ramp, a cellular modem, bluetooth to DreamMapper, etc.
RE: New DreamStation 2
I got my Dream Station 2 yesterday. Oscar doesn't recognize it. So far resisting to change settings. Curious what my new doctor will do. I'll give him a month to do his thing before I take over. (:-)
