New Mask on the Market

I used to fly with a mask similar to that. It looks like it is part of an aircrew chemical warfare defense ensemble. The idea is that you can wear the mask in a chemical environment and also when you need oxygen. The mask also has a microphone built in. I still have one of my old flight helmets and the old wedgestyle mask before they went to the low profile ones. When I had to wear the mask, I could always find what I needed - it was under the hose.

Now that you mention it, I believe that's what it was. I suspect infrared goggles are there too.

I still see potential for leaks around the neckline.
I think the total face mask concept was on to something, but why stop there? ... Clearly the left one is the Swift FX model.
