And THAT I'm going to look into as well, I hope I can get a similar product here...

If you can't get Xlear (or even if you can, but you just want it cheaper...) The recipe is:

8oz Distilled Water
1/4 to 1/2 tsp Salt (no additives or flowing agents - pickling salt)
1 tbsp Xylitol
1/16 tsp Baking Soda (optional)
4 drops Grapefruit Seed Extract (or use within 3 days)

use it in a netipot or put it in a squirty bottle. Could just add an appropriate amount of xylitol to the regular saline spray too.

Tongue Suck Technique for prevention of mouth breathing:
  • Place your tongue behind your front teeth on the roof of your mouth
  • let your tongue fill the space between the upper molars
  • gently suck to form a light vacuum

Practising during the day can help you to keep it at night

Keep in mind if you have dogs in the house xylitol is toxic to them so be careful to keep it away from them. My littlest dog is a chewer so I can't even have a bottle sitting anywhere he could get to it.
I use my PAP machine nightly and I feel great!
