New Resmed user question and recommendations on settings

New Resmed user question and recommendations on settings
I've been using the resmed now for 2 weeks, and am happy with it overall.
I do have one question and was wondering if my settings needed any adjustments.

question1: I have the ResMed humidity level set to 2, however in the morning the water tank is still quite cold.
on the dreamstation even a setting of 1 would make the water tank somewhat warm in the morning.
the warm tank option on the resmed does make the heating plate warm, so I know that is working.
what humidity setting on the resmed would approximate a setting of 1 to 2 on the dreamstation?

question2: I am posting a oscar printout of a night where my AHI was good (2.69) but I still felt quite tired all day.
I am wondering if my settings need to be adjusted. in short for the data:
went to bed at 2:40AM
Asleep at 3:15AM
bathroom breaks at 6:20AM and 8:30AM
awake at 10:15AM

any help or suggestions are welcome.

On the  humidity - all machines even the same brand and make are different.  My wife and I have the same machines and my humidity is set at 6 and she is at 2 and  both use about the same amount of water each night.

The only thing I would suggest is the trigger setting.  Set the trigger to high and see if that helps with the centrals.  Many people (including me) have found the trigger setting helps reduce centrals, infact I have mine set to very high and has helped me.

Does the "Trigger" setting only apply to BiPap machines?

Yes the autoset does not have those settings.

I also use the Trigger setting on the VAuto. It's not a feature in the AutoSet if that's what you're asking.

Use the Trigger on High for a couple days and note if there is an improvement in CA's. If not, lower the Pressure Support a little at a time and see if that makes a difference.
