New Sufferer
#11
RE: New Sufferer
Same for me as Big Guy.

I used to use an F20 but my mug is right in the middle of the medium and large according to ResMed's fitting tool. I switched to the F30 as an attempt to fix rubbing problems of the F20 on my nose and between the eyes. I found 100% relief for the F20 discomfort. And the F30, when properly adjusted is the most comfortable for me with the highest efficacy. And I am a side sleeper too.

Not knocking the F20. It's a very good mask for the right face, just not my face.

Here's my review on the F30 if you are interested in giving it a try in the future.
ResMed AirFit F30 - A Comprehensive Review and Helpful Tips

I am planning on taking the Philips Respironics Amara View for a spin. I bought all the parts as replacements parts instead of getting a complete package - saved about $100. I'm 100% out of pocket, so it's not like I have an insurance provider that I can ask for a new (fill in the blank). I have health insurance, Kaiser, but they don't pay for any DME if it does not come from within the four walls of Kaiser. Policies do vary, but that's the way mine is.

BTW, I am using the Amara View headgear on my F30 and it is way more comfortable the the Resmed Headgear.
