New User Getting Results
[attachment=4812]Thanks to this website and sleepyHead I am modifying my settings and improving my results. I went to MDE yesterday (1st visit) told the lady I have been doing this on my own and let her download my SD card. She was very surprised in only 16 days (with 2 days off because AirFit P10 was making the bridge of my nose so sore I needed a break) that I had started at 12 AHI and got down to some 6 AHI's and two under 5 AHI. I asked for the Hybrid Amara View and she agreed that was a good choice. My sleep doctor and the DME lady were both surprised that I could tell them what I needed.

I got 3 hours of sleep with the new mask but woke up feeling like I had too much air, probably because I was used to the AirFit P10 that I found to be restrictive. I adjusted pressure from 11 to 10 and EPR from 3 to 2 and went from 10 AHI to 4.84 AHI and never took any thing to help me sleep. With the AirFit I could only sleep about 4 hours with out taking any sleeping aids.

Chris, we never discussed what size pillows you use in the P10, but almost across the board, users do better with a larger size than they think they need. If you're using small or medium, give a large a shot the next time on air.

It would help if you changed your profile. I know you're using a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset, but you'd never know it looking under your user name.

I did start with the large size but had higher leak rates so I went to the medium size and that brought the leak rate way down. I only have one night on the Amara View and it had high leak rates but I do need to fine tune the adjustment straps.
