Leaking and smell, the smell could be from being a smoker and it was forcing the left over smoke from my lungs and into the mask?
The leaking could it have something to do with the absence of dentures at night when I’m going to bed?
I’m going to keep grasping for straws until I find the problem with not being able to use CPAP for SA, or until I figure out I’ve been beating a dead horse and through the CPAP in the garbage and accept the fact that is the way God programmed me to live and stop fighting him.
There are a couple interesting issues here. Smoking can lead to all kinds of odors and oral conditions as well as residues on skin and facial hair. Dentures dramatically change the shape of your face and fundamentally change the face you had when your mask was fit. In a perfect world, quit smoking and get implants. In this world, you need to pay attention to oral and facial hygiene and if implants are not an option, fit your mask, the way you sleep.
Thanks sleeprider
I’ve Been taking a break from CPAP for a few days, I believe the burn smell is from being a smoker, but just noticed it 3times so far.
For some CPAP users it has been a life changer for them, for me it will be a life change for me too give up smoking, new implants and still can’t get any benefits of OSA will still be beating a dead horse and could have had a new car for what I paid for the denture implants.
